Marius Bakken

Marius Bakken (born March 27, 1978 in Sandefjord) is a Norwegian middle distance runner.
Earlier in his career he would run distances from 800 to 10,000 metres, but has now specialized in 5000 metres. He competed in the 1999, 2001 and 2005 World Championships as well as in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics.
Bakken has not won any international titles, but is yet somewhat successful as he holds the Norwegian record in 3000 and 5000 metres.
