Marion Bartoli (born October 2, 1984) is a female professional tennis player from France. She lives in Geneva in Switzerland. She is currently ranked 17 in the world in singles and 33 in doubles.

Born in in Le-Puy-en-Velay, Marion Bartoli was introduced to tennis by her father, Walter, at the age of 6.

As a junior she won the junior US Open title in 2001 as well as the Australian Hardcourt Championships and Victorian Championships in the same year. As a senior, Marion Bartoli has not yet won a Grand Slam singles titles, but won her first WTA Tour title in 2006 in New Zealand. She has also won 3 WTA Tour Doubles titles. She is the French Number 2, behind Amélie Mauresmo. Her career best wins have been over Lindsay Davenport, Nadia Petrova, Nathalie Dechy, Poala Suarez, Vera Zvonareva, Meghann Shaughnessy & Arantxa Sanchez- Vicario. In October 2006, Bartoli won her second WTA Tour title at the AIG Japan Open Tennis Championships beating Aiko Nakamura 2/6 6/2 6/2 in the final. As a result she broke into the top 20 for the very first time. In her last event of the season she captured the Bell Challenge beating Olga Poutchkova 6/0 6/0 in the final. As a result she rose to No.17, a new career high.
