[edit] Biography

He was born in Huatabampo, Sonora, but his parents soon changed their residence to Ciudad Obregon, Guadalajara, and Mexico City. Coming from a family closely tied to the entertainment industry, he first worked at a night club owned by his father called Cabaret Señorial. By then, his brother Fernando had already started his career as an actor, which led Mario to become producer and director for his first films, writing his first movie script in 1963. Since then he has been working in this industry, acting, directing and producing. His long career and filmography earned him the Guiness World Records' distinction as the living actor appearing in more movies.
