Marin Catholic High School challenges students by providing them with a curriculum designed to prepare them for their college experience. Along with a broad range of courses that students may take from the science, language, arts, math, and much more, students also take a mandatory religion class each year. This course focuses on a variaty of topics ranging from morality to Bible interpretation. MCHS also offers AP/Honors classes for those students that qualify and feel the desire to challenge themselves.
96% of the 2006 class entered four year colleges and universities. Approximately, 65% of the student body is Catholic with remaining 35% being comprised of students of other faiths.
Students are required to complete 100 hours of community service, though students are encouraged to exceed the requirement and may be rewarded with entrance into the 200+ club. Such activities range from coaching sports teams in the community to helping out the elderly.
MCHS has a strong sports program although students are not required to participate. Sports information can be found here: http://www.marincatholic.org/index/sports-sport-action/
