Marie Matiko is an American actress.

• She has Chinese, Japanese and Filipino ancestry.
• Was awarded a ROTC scholarship while studying Environmental Engineering at UCLA, but turned down the scholarship to perform professionally for a national tour of Miss Saigon.
• With actor Ariel Felix, created a school called [Vivace]http://vivaceperformingarts.com for creative and artistic expression. As of 12/2000 students are "mostly Asian American". The Conservatory is located in Chinatown, Los Angeles, California.
• Her conservatory, Vivace School Of The Performing Arts, include Ariel Felix, Blythe Matsui, Kerry Wee, Paul Martinez, Olivia Tracey, Dexter Echiverri, April Malina, Cheiko Hidaka, and Anthony Begonia.
