Maria Lopez is a minor fictional character on the NBC soap opera Passions. She was played by actress Marta DuBois in 2004.

Maria is Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald's younger sister who lives in Mexico. When Pilar became pregnant with her fifth child Paloma after being abandoned by her husband Martin Fitzgerald she sent her infant daughter to live with Maria.
Maria ran a inn in Puerto Arena, Mexico unaware her surgically altered brother-in-law Martin and his mistress Katherine Barrett were living under the assumed names of Bob and Ellen Wheeler.
