[edit] Career

She enjoyed six chart hits in the UK in the early 1980s, performed with jazz bands, and sang the theme-song to the TV sitcom Coupling, "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps"

She has also performed in musicals, and has been a feature on a BBC TV series about celebrities and their health (she has Type 1 Diabetes).

Her back-up band was colloquially known as The Wilsations, and occasionally featured Michelle Collins (Cindy from EastEnders) and bassist 'Thumbs' Cunningham.
