Margaret of England

Margaret of England (September 29, 1240 - February 26, 1275) was Queen Consort of Alexander III of Scotland.

She was the second child of Henry III of England and his wife, Eleanor of Provence, and was born at Windsor Castle.

She was married at York Minster on December 26, 1251 to Alexander III, King of Scots, with whom she had three children:

She died at Cupar Castle on February 26/27, 1275, and was buried at Dunfermline Abbey, Fife.
