Margaret Armstrong Gow was a music teacher in Boston Massachusetts in the 1940s. Originally from Attleboro Massachusetts, she lived with her sister in Trinity Court, between Trinity Church and Back Bay Station. She gave lessons and student recitals from her apartment. The area was known for its high proportions of musicians and artists. She kept two concert grand pianos in her studio. Her studio was affiliated with the Harvard Musical Association. Among her students was Florence Louise Pettitt, also of Attleboro Massachusetts, who later became the director of the Chaminade Opera Company.
