Marcus Haber

Marcus Haber (Born January 11, 1989 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a young Canadian soccer player and one the country's top prospects. Marcus is the oldest child of David and Carla Haber and grew up in the Dunbar neighbourhood of Vancouver where he became proficient at soccer as well as baseball. In early 2006, he helped lead his local team the Vancouver Selects to a national championship. He has also played on Canadian National Soccer youth teams. Recently he has played the for the Vancouver Whitecaps U-17 team and is currently playing for the youth team of FC Groningen of the Dutch Eredivisie. Marcus has a younger brother Graham and a younger sister Leslie.
