Marcus Chong (born July 8, 1967 in Seattle, Washington) is the adopted son of famous comedian Tommy Chong, of Cheech and Chong fame. His sister is the actress Rae Dawn Chong. In the early 1990's he played lead character Miguel Mendez on the TV show Street Justice. He later appeared in the Vanishing Son action series as Fu Qua Johnson and has also played a biracial character of African American/Chinese descent in the TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
He has also starred as Tank in the critically acclaimed film The Matrix. He didn't appear in the second or third movies in the series, allegedly because he repeatedly called directors Larry and Andy Wachowski at odd hours, demanding more lines and money.
Chong's biological father, Martin Wyatt, is the sports director at KGO TV (ABC 7) in San Francisco and has been a local TV sportscaster in the Bay Area for many years.
