Marco V, born Marco Verkuylen, is a modern Dutch DJ. He currently ranks as number 18 on the 2006 DJ Magazine Top 100 DJs List.

Marco V has been known in trance and house music circles for several years. He is known for his inventive, crowd-pleasing, high-energy DJ mixes at some of the world's biggest clubs and events. His production style is recognizable for its uplifting style and constant, hard-kicking drive. His biggest hits are "Godd", "In Charge", "Simulated", "Indicator", which all have a strong, driven sound. Marco V's sound is a mixture between Trance / Progressive / Techno.
Marco V was the resident DJ of the "danssalon" in Eindhoven in the Netherlands, but his productions into the harder side of trance was a contrast of the Club-sound he was DJ-ing in the "danssalon". After several years of residency he focused on his producing and that has led to where he is today. Headlining Innercity in Amsterdam 2000 and mixing the Innercity CD of that year gave him the breakthrough he needed. According to Marco, he doesn't want to be "labeled into a box and plays whatever he likes and thinks that fits this sound".
He has been headlining Innercity / Mysteryland / Sensation / DanceValley just to name a few. Together with his musical partner Benjamin Bates he is responsible for quite a few classic remixes: "the Age of Love", "Loops and Things", "Cafe Del Marco V" and the original Bootleg of Nancy Sinatra's "Bang Bang" - which was used as the only Bootleg ever to be used as an Anthem for Innercity 2004. This was allegedly before the remix produced by the Audio Bullys.
In 2005 he released his critically acclaimed follow up to his debut "con:fusion" which was made for the clubs. On this follow up called "200V" (V also to be read as the Roman 5) he experiments outside the typical club sound. It's a record for every mood and with some dreamy landscape track (New Dawn), which is the best song on the record with a live drummer and some harder club tracks (Great Escape , Red Blue Purple , Calling The Shots) and even some more vocal "pop" songs (Second Bite , Stronger now).
Marco V is currently working on the follow up of Benjamin Bates' debut album (N.E.V.E.R.L.E.T.A.N.Y.T.H.I.N.G.K.I.L.L.T.H.E.P.L.E.A.S.U.R.E.) which (title: recyclomania) is to be released early 2007.
