Marchington Woodlands is a small hamlet, lying between Uttoxeter and Marchington. It has a church and a village hall. The local first school was closed in the 1990's and the building was converted into a private home. It has two telephone area codes, Burton upon Trent (01283) and Uttoxeter (01889). There are a number of old, attractive properties within the hamlet.
