Marc Anthony Jackson (born January 16, 1975 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball player in the NBA for the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets. After a career at Temple University, he was drafted in the second round (37th overall) of the 1997 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors; however he did not commence play with them until 2000. Fearing that they would lose out as there was no guarantee he would sign a second contract with them, the Warriors traded Jackson to the Minnesota Timberwolves before the trade deadline in February 2001, where he played for 1½ seasons. In 2003 he signed with the Philadelphia 76ers. They traded him to the New Jersey Nets during the 2005 offseason, after a deal to bring in Shareef Abdur-Rahim from the Portland Trail Blazers to the Nets fell through.
Before the 2005-06 trade deadline, he was traded by the New Jersey Nets to the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets.
