Marc (TV series)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Marc was a British television series starring T. Rex lead singer Marc Bolan.
Produced by Muriel Young, it ran for six once-weekly episodes in the autumn of 1977, before its host died in a car crash on September 16. A pop music show, it gave Bolan a chance to showcase punk bands, including Generation X, The Jam, and The Damned.
The last episode featured Marc duetting with David Bowie. At the end of the song, Bolan tripped over a microphone cable and fell off the stage.
