Marathia (Greek: Μαραθιά), also Marathea, is a village that is part of the commune of and the municipality of Amaliada and the prefecture of Ilia. The town is passed by Greece Interstate GR-9/E55. The nearest communities are Savalia and Roviata to the north, Amaliada to the east, and Kourouta to the west. Distance from Amaliada is 4 km WNW, Patras is about 76 km SW and 18 km NW of Pyrgos.

This place has a small school, and a church. The area in the southeast and west is covered with forests and agricultural lands. Its beach is located to its west and another in Kourouta.
