Maranello is a town in northern Italy 18 km from Modena, population about 15,000 and probably best-known as the home of Ferrari cars and Scuderia Ferrari F1 racing team. Maranello was also home to the Carrozzeria Scaglietti, now owned by Ferrari.
Maranello has been the location for the Ferrari factory since the company was first created by Enzo Ferrari and also the public museum Galleria Ferrari with cars and trophy is located here.
Near Maranello is the town of Fiorano Modenese where the "Fiorano Circuit" is located, a private circuit owned by Ferrari for its car testing.
