Marah can refer to:

  • The genus Marah, or manroots, a kind of wild cucumber
  • The music rock band Marah.
  • Marah, a place in Biblical times, now synonymous with bitter heavily mineralised water
  • The symbolic name of the Biblical Naomi, from the Old Testament Book of Ruth. (Ruth 1:20): "And she said vnto them, Call me not Naomi; call mee Mara: for the Almightie hath dealt very bitterly with me" (1611 King James Version).
