Mara Darmousli, in Greek: Μάρα Δαρμουσλή, is a Greek fashion model. She has appeared in many international fashion events and magazines, her face appearing on the covers of such magazines as Vogue, Marie Claire and Bazaar. In 1998 she won the Greek Elite Model Look final contest and advanced to the Nice International final, held in September in the French Riviera, where she did very well, coming in second overall in the Pantene contest. In 2005 Mara has also done some acting, appearing in the Greek film I Kardia Tou Ttinous - (The Heart of the Beast) by Renos Haralambidis, based on the novel by Petros Tatsopoulos. It was a feature film during the 46th International Thessaloniki Film Festival in 2005. As past times she enjoys going to the movies and long-distance runs.
