María Consuelo Araújo Castro, born 1971 in Valledupar, is a Colombian politician and diplomat. In 2006 was appointed Minister of Foreign Relations of the government of President Álvaro Uribe.

Previously, she was the Minister of Culture for Colombia (2002-2006). Her brother, Alvaro Araújo Castro, is a senator of Colombia. There is an ongoing investigation on members of her family that have been linked with paramilitary groups (2006).
