In-line version of Template:mapeu (talk, backlinks, edit). A version specialized for (a country the size of) the Netherlands is Template:mapnlc (talk, backlinks, edit).

I saved this template in [1], and fabartus#About_TfD, but it's author seems to not have grasped the suggestions, or has overlooked them.

Disputed use: call of {{mapeuc|52.0813|4.3231|}} seen in Railway_stations_in_the_Netherlands multiple times as shown here on removal — the template wrapped improperly and over cluttered a page already over populated with links. A left justified table form, or a neater form of table is indicated. See the below. // FrankB 05:57, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

I do not know what you mean by "wrapped improperly", or, below, "wrapping collision problems". I tried two browsers, in both it wraps properly, with the proper indentation.--Patrick 09:47, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Suggested Inline form

Patrick: You seem to want this as an inline tool, but it needs something to introduce it and suggest what follows at a mininum. Otherwise things are simply far too busy for the eye to grasp.

This will still have the wrapping collision problems as the Tfd discussed, and you seem not to have imposed the changes I suggested there, so do consider that it will be far more attractive as a table like the second example, not to mention easier to use if in the second form following.
   Strong suggest you at the least break the display after the first two groups using {{indent}} or it's {{I}} equivilent.
   Those templates maintain indentation and even font effects given to paragraphs by '::::', '*' or even '#' wiki-markup (psuedo-HTML) line prefixes, so will create a well mannered an neat display, even when indented by one of those.

[edit] Better suggested form

This echo's suggestions in the Tfd so it presents well and behaves itself around images, tables, and boxes.

If you play a bit with {{s}} you should be able to get it to columnize neatly without resulting to a wikitable. // FrankB 05:57, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

You are welcome to add more maps. Let us keep Mapquest for now, typically one map is better is one respect, and another in another respect.--Patrick 10:43, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Google maps

The sat link after MSNW actually referred to Google for sattelite images. I gave it a separate heading and added Google maps. Different zoom levels are difficult to use with Google, due to the way they are defined in the URLs. Cpt. Morgan (Reinoutr) 15:47, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
