Deuel County- Chappell is the capitol and Deuel county Nebraska is located on the Southwest corner of Nebraska with Colorado as it's neighbor. Chappell's population is 983 but people are always welcome to move here and people here are proud of their county and their county seat. The interstate I-80 is close by and Chappell has some nice and interesting places to visit. You should come visit and find out for yourself. Deuel County is located in the plains area, and is also adjecent to Highway 30 and neighboring Cheyene County, Garden County and Keith County. Some projects that are going on in Deuel County as well as in all other counties of Nebraska is to increase the population of their county seats as well as other communities, to develope relationships and good will projects with neighboring Colorado communities, to create memorial parks for veterans, to educate the public about their communities, and to improve and rebuild their county seat. Visitors are welcome! Those people especially wanted are people interested in community projects, businesses, and industry. If you are clean, educated and like the plains area Deuel County may be the place for you. Come visit Deuel and see for yourself!
