Maow

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Maow was a Canadian indie rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia. They released only one album, 1996's The Unforgiving Sounds of Maow.

The band, a pop punk combo, was part of the "cuddlecore" scene led by cub. It included drummer Neko Case, who later went on to a solo career as an alternative country star and sometime vocalist with Canadian power pop ensemble The New Pornographers.
