Many, Many Monkeys

In the Many, Many Monkeys episode of The Twilight Zone, Karen Valentine plays "Claire Hendricks", a nurse in a hospital where a sudden outbreak of blindness has stricken many. It soon is discovered as to why the outbreak occurred, but once it is resolved one patient still remains blind due to circumstances not related to the outbreak.

Note: "Many, Many Monkeys" was written by William Froug in 1964 for the final season of the original black-and-white Twilight Zone (i.e., the season that Froug produced). The story remained unfilmed, however, until this 1987 production.
