Manurewa train station is on the Southern Line of the Auckland railway network. The station has a side platform layout connected by a pedestrian footbridge. Access is from both Selwyn Road & SouthMall Shopping Centre.
The station has a large park-and-ride facility and interchange with many local bus services.

- July 2006: A new station opened south of the old one. This is Manurewa's third station -- the previous two stations were to the north of the present site.
