Manuel d' Novas (born February 24, 1938) is a Cape Verdean poet and composer.

Born Manuel Jesus Lopes on the island of Santo Antão, he has become one of the most important poets and composers of Cape Verde. His music is known all over the world, through performers like Cesária Évora. and can be considered as a son of Mindelo. He lives in Mindelo on the island of São Vicente.
