Manuchar Shervashidze

Manuchar Shervashidze was a ruler and head of state of the Principality of Abkhazia in the middle half of the 18th century. Shervashidze was forcefully deposed from the thrown by Ottoman Turkey and sent into exile to that nation, where he converted to Islam together with his brothers Levan and Shirvan.
