Manoj Das

Manoj Das or Manok Das (1934- ) is an Indian award-winning writer in Oriya and English.
Manoj Das was born at Shankari, Balasore, Orissa State, India. Since 1963 he has been an ashramite at Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry. Manoj Das is currently an English professor at the Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education, Pondicherry.

Das is considered as the Vishnu Sarma of modern Oriya literature for his magnificent style[citation needed] and efficient uses of words[citation needed] and for the fact that, he is one of the best story-teller in India at present times[citation needed].
