[edit] Trivia
- One of the exclusive movies where Rani Mukerji makes a special appearance. She was reluctant at first but eventually performed the song on Aamir Khan's insistence.
- Aishwarya Rai was offered the lead role of Priya. Interestingly, her movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam released at the same time and became an unexpected hit. It established Rai's career.
- Mann lost audience to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) which grossed huge amounts of money overseas and all over across India.
