Mammoo (マンムー Manmū?) is one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. The purpose of Mammoo in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.

[edit] Biology
Mammoo resembles a fully grown mammoth, except with a pig-like nose. It also keeps its tusks which it has had since its Piloswine evolutionary stage, but they are much larger than before and seem to have shifted downward. Those of the male are larger than the female's.
[edit] In the video games
In the video games, Manmuu has very high Attack and Hit Point ratings, having base stat values of 130 and 110, respectively. Unfortunately, all its other ratings are simply slightly above-average at best.
Manmoo evolves from Piloswine when it knows Ancientpower, but only in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl despite the fact its pre-evolutions Swinub and Piloswine could learn Ancientpower in previous games by breeding, and automatically in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness when the Shadow Swinub is purified. These facts makes it one of only two Pokémon (the other being Berobelt) that evolves from a previously obtainable Pokémon in a way that would have been possible in previous games.
It has been speculated that Manmoo will me a central pokemon in "Hail Teams". Yukinoo sets up hailstorm as it comes into battle with its trait (See Groudon, Kyogre and Tyranitar to see similarities). Manmoo, with its trait Snow Hide. It can use its physical moves, such as Earthquake, to try and get around Ice types weaknesses, or it can use the move Blizzard (Which has 100% accuracy in hail) to good effect
