Manikatala is a district of northern Kolkata.

The Maniktala crossing is the intersection of Vivekananda Road and Acharya Prafulla Chandra Road - two main thoroughfares in north Kolkata. The adjacent area is known as Maniktala.

The Central Blood Bank of West Bengal Government is located at the Maniktala crossing. So is one of oldest markets of Kolkata, the Maniktala Bazar, easily identified by the clock tower. Maniktala Bazar is famous for its fresh fish and produce.
