Mangere Train Station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mangere Train Station is on the Eastern and Southern Lines of the Auckland railway network. It has an offset side platform layout. There is no connection between the two platforms.
[edit] Station Closure
For many years patronage had been low, but many King's College students the train to go to school.
The current timetable, introduced on 25 October 2005, closed the station except for a few southbound morning peak services that set down passengers on school days only.
The northbound platform is now disused. Students from King's College going home now use nearby Middlemore Station, which is not far away.
