Manfred Schäfer

Manfred Schäfer (born February 12, 1943)[1] is a former football (soccer) defender. He was born in Kaliningrad and emigrated to Australia aged 14.[2] He was a member of the Australian 1974 World Cup squad in West Germany.
Schäfer represented Australia 72 times, scoring 1 goal. He played in all three of Australia's matches in the 1974 FIFA World Cup.
