Manasquan Reservoir

The Manasquan Reservoir is a source of water for municipalities and utilities, as well as a 1,204-acre (4.87 kmĀ²) park located in Howell, New Jersey. As a park, the reservoir features a five-mile hiking trail surrounding the reservoir, as well kayak, rowboat and fishing options for all visitors.
A portion of the reservoir's property is designated as a wildlife reserve. The aquatic portion of this reserve protects fauna such as bluegill, catfish and bass.
The reservoir was created by damming the Timber Swamp Brook.
