Manalapan High School

Manalapan High School is a comprehensive four-year public high school located in Englishtown, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Freehold Regional High School District.

Manalapan High School is home to the Science/Engineering Specialized Learning Center, or S&E, which is a program for students with an affinity for mathematical and scientific subjects. This rigorous program has anywhere between ten and forty students in each class and the curriculum consists of courses related to engineering, science and high level mathematics.

Under the federal No Child Left Behind Act, Manalapan High School has been declared a "Failing School" in the 2004-2005 year. As of 2006 Manalapan High School is a passing school.[1]

For the last 7 years, the principal of the school was Mrs. Terri Grey. After her retirement in January 2006, the school was assigned an interim principal, Dr. Procopio, who has been named the permanent principal of the school.

As of the 2004-05 school year, Manalapan High School had 2,073 students and 137.8 classroom teachers (on a FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 15.0.[2]
