Malasada is also very popular in southeastern Massachusetts/Rhode Island, where there is a considerable Azorean Portuguese population. You can find them at most bakeries in the region (especially in Fall River and New Bedford) at church bake sales, Portuguese festivals, etc. 208.200.11.155 13:14, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
