Mallee Football League (South Australia)

The Mallee Football League (MFL) is a Australian rules football competition in South Australia.

It contains the following teams:

  • Border Downs Tintinara Crows
  • Karoonda Magpies
  • Lameroo Hawks
  • Murrayville Bulldogs (Vic.)
  • Peake Lions
  • Pinnaroo Supa Roos.

The football season usually starts after Easter and ends in early September. The local newspaper The Border Times has extensive coverage of each weeks results of the MFL. The Leagues Best & Fairest award is called the Mail Medal.

In 2006 the grand final was held in Coonalpyn, South Australia and Border Downs Tintinara won the A Grade, Reserves and the Under 16's Competitions.
