Malibu Boats is a recreational and competition ski boat manufacturer, specializing in inboard boats. Its corporate headquarters are located in Merced, California, USA. They have manufacturing plants in California, Tennessee and Albury, Australia. Malibu Boats is the first and only ski boat manufacturer to own and operate multiple manufacturing facilities. The company is privately owned.
Malibu Boats are popular for use in wakeboarding,water skiing, barefooting, wakesurfing, and wakeskating.

History: Malibu Boats was founded in 1982 by President/CEO Robert Alkema.
