Malgrate (Malgraa in local language) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 45 km northeast of Milan and about 0 km north of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,233 and an area of 2.0 km2.[1]
Malgrate borders the following municipalities: Galbiate, Lecco, Valmadrera.
