Malcolm Arbuthnot

Malcolm Arbuthnot (born 1877 in Cobham, Surrey - died 1967 in New Jersey) was a celebrity photographer in London. He photographed many of the well-known personalities of New Bond Street in the 1920s and 1930s, including Emily Pankhurst. A film called "Arbuthnot: London's Leading Photographer" was made about him. He was a friend of George Bernard Shaw. He was also an artist, painting in oils, watercolours and gouaches. He married twice, his second wife being the widow of George Davison, and had numerous adopted children.
