The Malayan Pangolin Manis javanica is a variety of pangolin found in South-East Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore).
- Skin of feet is granular
- Pads on the front feet
- 30 tail scale
Closely related to the chinese pangolin, although the Malayan species is larger, lighter in colour and has shorter foreclaws.
Main Predators: Tiger, Clouded Leopard.
Distribution: Borneo, Cambodia, Java, Laos, Malaya, Myanmar, Philippines, Sumatra, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore.
