Maksym Tadeyovich Rylsky (Ukrainian: Максим Тадейович Рильський; 19 March 1895 [O.S. 7 March] in Kiev – 24 July 1964 id.) was a Ukrainian poet. He began writing as a representative of 'pure art' doctrine, during the Stalinist years adopted the official doctrine of 'socialist realism' (Rylsky's panegyry of Stalin: Stalin#Cult of personality). Later, Rylsky returned to neo-classical forms.
