Makoto is a Japanese drum and bass artist, DJ and actor, born in Tokyo in 1977. Inspired by LTJ Bukem's Logical Progression album and Goldie's Inner City Life he started experimenting with drum and bass music. It received the attention of Good Looking Records and he was later featured on several of LTJ Bukem's mix CDs.

The artist's first album Human Elements was released on Good Looking Records in 2003. Second artist album Believe In My Soul will be released on Good Looking Records in 2006.

Makoto continues to act and tour his music, mostly in Thailand and Japan.

Makoto Koshinaka became the lead singer of Aucifer which debuted in 1999. It found moderate success and gathered fans in Thailand. Their first album was Limit Control and their first single, Da Tenshi Blue was the opening for the anime Kaikan Phrase, which is loosely based off the band members. Their second album was called Hebigami-hime, which was released in June 2000.

Finally, in 2002, they disbanded and released a best of album in 2003.

On October 22, 2005, he released his first solo album, entitled Vibration. A year later, in October 2006, he released a mini album, Butterfly.

Makoto continues to be an entertainer, acting as well as singing. He appeared in the following dramas:
