Makerere College School is a prestigious school in Uganda which shares a campus with Makerere University. It was established in 1945 to provide teaching practice for students at the University's School of Education. It is a day school with boarding facilities.

Makerere college school is listed among Africa's top 100 schools boasts of sharing the prestigious fame with other traditional schools as Namilyango college, Gayaza High school, Rainbow international school and Lincoln international to mention a few.

Makerere College School is also one of the few Ugandan schools that send students to the prestigious United World Colleges.
