There is two common spellings for his first name: Majid and Madjid. Majead Ansari is solely (google it) used on cabinet's website and this might be only a mistake by webmaster since there is plenty of other spelling issues there. I suggest we make this page a redirect to Majid Ansari and simply mention alternative spell in introductory paragraph. Any idea Roozebh? --Pouya 19:23, 21 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Well, that was my previous idea before I saw the cabinet site. My guess is that they have asked the spellings from the cabinet members themselves, and I really believe we should spell names the way the people do it themselves, if we find how is that. There is a real possibility that Mr Ansari, knowing Arabic and seeing the name "ماجد" spelled like "Majid" in English, prefers to use something like "Majead" to make sure his name is pronounced correctly by people more exposed to Arabic names. So I guess we should keep the current spelling of "Majead", but try to investigate more into the issue. roozbeh 10:57, Dec 22, 2004 (UTC)
