Have you missed wikipedia:about?

Oh, and we can't completely copy ODP - their category scheme is copyrighted.

Good work.Martin 21:37 5 Jul 2003 (UTC)

I forgot about the wikipedia:about page. I just used about the project as that was the existing text on the original home page. I just used the ODP scheme as an example. I don't think we should actually use the same categories they do. Something more relevant to an encyclopedia would be better but I didn't want to spend time on thinking what those might be if people didn't like the idea anyway. Angela 21:52 5 Jul 2003 (UTC)
Oh, I definitely like the idea of topic, example, example, example, ... - that's very nice :) Martin

I kinda like the idea. *Much* lighter.

Example, example...is nice, but drawback, it is very oriented. I mean, look at the examples under the sport topic...very american oriented. What about displaying different information depending on the information gotten from the browser or... And the interlanguages are gone. As such, at the www.wikipedia.org address. User:Anthere

Remember these are not the categories I actually suggest using. It was just a demo of how categories could be displayed on the page. Angela 15:40 8 Jul 2003 (UTC)
