Below are some alternatives to Wikipedia's Main Page. Some serve a special need, while the rest provide a change in style. To use these instead of the default Main Page, access them from here, or set one as your browser's home page, or set one or more up as links on your browser's tool bar. Enjoy...
- PDA version - for personal data assistants and cell phones.
- Text only - a main page without the daily features.
- Links only - a main page with just the links to each section and nothing else.
- Simple - no-frills version.
- Blue boy - blue, with browse box.
- Classic (2004) - the style of the Main Page in June 2004.
- Classic (2006) - the style of the Main Page in February 2006.
- Executive - style and function.
- Italian-style - looks like the old Italian Wikipedia Main Page.
- Misty breeze - this design feels light and misty.
- Regal - purple and gold.
- Search Box - similar to the current revision of the main page, but with a search box.
- Simple Search box - reminiscent of Google in its simplicity.
- Shades of blue - blue tones, with colorful icons and search box.
- Tomorrow & today - Tomorrow's and today's edition combined
- Tomorrow's edition - day+1 for featured items and On This Day section.
- Yesterday's edition - day-1 for featured items and On This Day section.

[edit] How to reset your default Main Page to one of the above
Paste the following code into your user:username/monobook.js page (where username is your account name), and the main page will be changed to the Classic 2006 main page alternative. You have to be logged on for this to work. If you'd like a different main page alternative instead, simply change the url in the code to that of the main page alternative you desire...
