Mainframe Entertainment is a Canadian computer animation and design company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and Los Angeles, California, USA. It produces children's computer animation TV series.
On September 16, 2003, IDT Media announced that its animation unit, Digital Production Solutions, signed a binding Letter of Intent to acquire a controlling interest in Mainframe Entertainment, Inc. The acquisition was completed in December 2, 2003, making it part of IDT Entertainment. On May 16, 2006, IDT sold its IDT Entertainment division to Liberty Media. On July 20, 2006, it was announced that Rainmaker Income Fund would acquire IDT Entertainment's shares in Mainframe.[1]
