MailLaunder is a privately held company providing a hosted service for businesses to stop and block e-mail spam and viruses.

MailLaunder.com was established in 2004 [1] and is based in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Drake Consulting owns and operates MailLaunder.com as one of its services it provides.

Since it is a hosted application, no changes are required to any email client. This is important because new customers using the service will start to see spam stop appearing in their inbox immediately and systems administrators can get it working with little effort.

The solution utilizes a mix of Open Source technologies including SpamAssassin, XMail mail server and the PostgreSQL database server.

The service also offers a free 30-day trial to new customers[2].
