Maik Taylor (born September 4, 1971 in Hildesheim, Germany) is a Northern Irish football player. His position is goalkeeper.

He currently plays for Birmingham City, but has previously represented Southampton, Fulham, Barnet and Farnborough Town. He began his career at Petersfield Town.

He is a regular in the Northern Ireland national team, and is still regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in England.

Taylor is renowned for his shot stopping and great aerial ability. The 6 ft 4 in stopper was voted Premiership fans' goalkeeper of the season in Birmingham City's 2003-04 campaign.
